Dr. Kamran Ahmad

" ...for it is not too late
to seek a newer world"

BRIEF INTRODUCTION

Training and teaching in the area of spirituality and religious tolerance remain the most meaningful of all that I have done in my life. I moved from formal religions to formal spiritual traditions to spirituality beyond all forms and traditions. This is what I facilitate others in as well. Most of my books have been related to this area.

Clinical Psychology is what I practiced for 30 years, from private practice to crisis centers to 18 years in the International Civil Service, including as the head of Staff Counseling of a United Nations Agency. I taught psychology at the university level for many years as well

After spirituality, gender remains my passion. Gender-based violence is what I did most of my work in, but masculinity is the area where I have done ground-breaking work. This included a book on 'Understanding Men'.
